During his visit, he held a high-level review meeting at the district collectorate with senior officials from the state police and CRPF.
Review of Saranda–Kolhan Operations

Discussions also focused on recent encounters, recovery of improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and the overall strategy being adopted by security forces.
Emphasis on Coordination and Intelligence Network
CRPF DG Gyanendra Pratap Singh instructed officials to strengthen coordination among security forces to make the operations more effective. He emphasized that a strong intelligence network is essential to closely monitor the activities of Naxal groups.

The meeting also discussed the deployment of security forces in Naxal-affected areas, increasing interaction with local villagers, and strictly implementing a zero-tolerance policy against Naxal activities.
Officials were directed to take concrete steps to dismantle the supply chains and support networks of Naxal groups. Efforts to build better coordination with local communities and bring them into the mainstream were also highlighted as an important strategy.
Indications of Major Upcoming Operations
