World News : A major attack has been reported on the United States Embassy located in Baghdad’s highly secured Green Zone. According to Iraqi officials, a missile was fired at the embassy complex, targeting the helipad inside the compound.
Soon after the attack, thick black smoke was seen rising from the embassy area, causing panic and heightened security in the surroundings. Reports also suggest that the embassy’s radar system was targeted by a suicide drone.
Videos circulating on social media show smoke billowing from inside the embassy compound. However, US authorities have not yet confirmed any casualties or the exact extent of damage within the embassy premises.
