India News : In a major breakthrough, Bihar Police have arrested a young man from Buxar district for allegedly plotting an attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The accused, identified as Aman Tiwari, is a resident of Asha Padri village under Simri police station limits. Authorities claim that he was in contact with foreign and hostile intelligence agencies and was sharing sensitive information related to national security.
According to the police, several critical documents and messages were recovered from Tiwari’s laptop and mobile phone. These digital records reportedly indicate attempts to leak confidential information and assist in planning a potential attack on the Prime Minister. Buxar Superintendent of Police Shubham Arya stated that Aman had been under surveillance for quite some time due to his suspicious activities.
Investigations suggest that Tiwari was motivated by financial gains and was trying to establish credibility with foreign intelligence agencies by offering insider knowledge about VVIP security arrangements. Police initially detained two other individuals along with him. However, after detailed interrogation and analysis of digital evidence, those individuals were released due to lack of concrete proof, while strong evidence against Aman led to his arrest.
Authorities revealed that Aman Tiwari has a concerning criminal background. He was previously arrested in 2021 for allegedly issuing a bomb threat targeting a Kolkata airport. That case was handled jointly by Kolkata and Buxar police teams. Officials believe that his technical knowledge enabled him to use advanced communication platforms and international servers to send encrypted messages and maintain contact with suspicious entities.
During the raid at his residence, police seized multiple electronic devices, including laptops and communication equipment, which have been sent for high-level forensic examination. Investigators are now analyzing whether he had accomplices within India and identifying the full extent of the network he was allegedly connected to.
The arrest has caused panic in Asha Padri village, where residents are shocked that someone from their community could be involved in such a serious conspiracy. Police are now focusing on tracing any financial links between Aman and foreign sources, as well as identifying potential targets beyond the Prime Minister that may have been included in his plans.
