India News : Howrah Reinforcing the message of environmental conservation and sustainable living, St. Thomas School, Dasnagar, celebrated Van Mahotsav on its campus on Wednesday with an enthusiastic tree plantation programme involving students, teachers, and school staff. The programme commenced at 8:00 a.m. under the leadership of the school’s Headmaster, Shri Tanmay Banerjee, whose initiative made the event a meaningful environmental awareness campaign.

The celebration began with an inaugural session highlighting the significance of Van Mahotsav and the vital role of trees in maintaining ecological balance, conserving biodiversity, and combating climate change. A major highlight of the programme was the plantation of saplings at different locations across the school campus.
