Rajgir Tourism: Rajgir is strengthening its position as a major eco-tourism destination in Bihar, with its green hills, dense forest areas, hot springs, Ghora Katora, ropeway and Nature Safari attracting a growing number of visitors.
The Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department is working to promote tourism while linking it with the local economy and employment opportunities and ensuring the conservation of natural resources.
According to department data, 24,55,255 tourists visited Rajgir between January and November 2025. The visitors included 23,37,383 domestic tourists and 1,17,872 foreign tourists.
Meanwhile, 1,37,855 tourists visited Rajgir between January and March this year, according to the data.
Rajgir surrounded by five hills
