Bihar News : Bihar Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha visited the world-famous Baba Harihar Nath Temple in Sonpur on Wednesday and offered prayers. He performed special worship of Baba Harihar Nath, whose idol is installed in the temple sanctum, and completed the Rudrabhishek ceremony according to traditional rituals.
After the prayers, the Agriculture Minister prayed to God for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the people of the country, Bihar and the entire Harihar Kshetra.
Rudrabhishek Performed Amid Vedic Chants
The worship ceremony was conducted by the acharyas and priests of the Baba Harihar Nath Temple Trust Committee amid Vedic chanting. The rituals were completed following the prescribed religious procedures.
Temple Trust Committee Honours Minister
On the occasion, Vijay Kumar Singh alias Lalla, secretary of the Baba Harihar Nath Temple Trust Committee, and BJP leader Rakesh Kumar Singh welcomed the Agriculture Minister.
On behalf of the temple trust committee, secretary Vijay Kumar Singh alias Lalla honoured the minister by presenting him with a traditional angavastram, a flower garland, sacred prasad of Baba Harihar Nath and a commemorative memento.

BJP workers, administrative officials and security personnel were also present during the minister’s visit to the temple.
