Shreyasi Singh Opens Bihar Pavilion in Dubai, Highlights Investment Scope

Bihar News : Bihar further strengthened its outreach to global investors with the inauguration of the Bihar Pavilion at the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Congress 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Monday. The pavilion is showcasing the state’s industrial potential, investment opportunities and investor-friendly reforms before global investors.

Bihar Industries Minister Shreyasi Singh inaugurated the pavilion in the presence of Industries Department Secretary Kundan Kumar, senior officials and representatives from the business sector. She highlighted Bihar’s rapidly developing industrial ecosystem and emerging investment opportunities in priority sectors.

Focus on Easing the Investment Process

Shreyasi Singh underlined the Bihar government’s commitment to simplifying the investment process and building stronger partnerships with global businesses. She said Bihar’s participation in AIM Congress is aimed at creating meaningful partnerships and converting investor interest into concrete investment opportunities in the state.

The Bihar Pavilion is highlighting the state’s industrial infrastructure, investment potential, sector-specific capabilities, policy incentives and investor-friendly reforms. Visitors and prospective investors are being provided information about Bihar’s changing industrial landscape and opportunities across different sectors.

Key Policies on Display

The pavilion is showcasing the Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package, 2025, Bihar Semiconductor Policy, 2026, and Bihar Global Capability Centre (GCC) Policy, 2026.

It is also highlighting the Bihar Textile and Leather Policy (Revised), 2022, Bihar Tourism Policy and IT Policy, along with other policies aimed at promoting investment and industrial development.

Industrial Land Bank and Connectivity Highlighted

Bihar’s expanding industrial land bank, plug-and-play infrastructure and improving connectivity are also being prominently showcased at the pavilion. The state’s broader policy ecosystem aimed at accelerating investment and industrial growth is also being presented to potential investors.

The Bihar government is seeking to familiarise international investors and global business groups with the opportunities available in the state and provide information about its investment-friendly environment. The showcasing of Bihar’s industrial and policy capabilities at a global platform such as AIM Congress is being positioned as an important step towards strengthening the state’s presence on the international investment map.
