Samrat Choudhary Pays Tribute to Mother and Former MLA Parvati Devi

Bhagalpur: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Thursday paid homage to his late mother and former Tarapur MLA Parvati Devi on her death anniversary. He visited Parvati Nagar in Tarapur, located in Asarganj block of Munger district, and offered a floral tribute at her statue at the B.Ed. College.

The Chief Minister garlanded the statue of late Parvati Devi and paid an emotional tribute. Remembering his mother, Samrat Choudhary said that her affection, values and spirit of service as a symbol of maternal strength would always remain memorable.

CM Remembers Mother’s Values and Service

Samrat Choudhary said that the life and values of late Parvati Devi would continue to inspire future generations. He added that her cherished memories would always remain alive in the hearts of family members and well-wishers.

Former minister Shakuni Choudhary also garlanded the statue of his late wife Parvati Devi and paid tribute. Other members of the family also offered flowers at her statue.

Ministers, Legislators and Senior Officials Attend

Several public representatives, senior officials and prominent citizens were present on the occasion. Those attending included Road Construction Minister Eng. Kumar Shailendra, MLA Kumar Pranay, MLA Lalit Narayan Mandal, MLA Manish Kumar and former MLA Rajiv Kumar Singh.

Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit, Chief Minister’s Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh, Munger Commissioner Prem Singh Meena, Munger Range Deputy Inspector General of Police Rakesh Kumar, Munger District Magistrate Nikhil Dhanraj Nippanikar and Munger Superintendent of Police Syed Imran Masood were also present.

A large number of members of the public attended the programme and joined in paying tribute to late Parvati Devi.
