India News : Sanjeev Shekhar, Head – Corporate Affairs at Adani Power Jharkhand, has been honoured with the prestigious Inclusive Leadership Champion Award under the Greentech Corporate Leadership Awards 2025. The award ceremony was held during a two-day summit organized by Greentech Foundation at Radisson Blu Plaza, New Delhi.
This recognition, presented in the individual leadership category, was conferred by Mr. Rajiv K. Dubey (Chief Advisor, Greentech Foundation & former CMD, Canara Bank), Major General Sanjay Christopher Meston (Retd.), and K. Sharan (CEO, Greentech Foundation).
Significantly, Mr. Shekhar is the first individual from Jharkhand to receive this esteemed award, making it a moment of pride for the entire state.
The summit also recognized other senior executives from the Adani Group, including Sandeep Gautam (Head – Commercial & Business Development, Mining Tech Consultancy Services), Dr. Hemant Sahu and Amit Kanojia from Adani Cement.
Themed “Leadership in the Era of Disruption”, the summit brought together industry leaders, policy influencers, and corporate professionals for insightful panel discussions. Prominent speakers included Group Captain (Retd.) Rajendra Kumar Joshi (Sr. VP – Strategy & Planning, Jio Platforms Ltd), Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Rajeev Hora, Sandeep Gautam, Sanjeev Shekhar, and Atul Kumar Verma (Head EHS, UPL Ltd).
About Sanjeev Shekhar
Sanjeev Shekhar is a seasoned corporate professional with over 30 years of experience in corporate affairs, communication, HR, and public relations. At present, he leads Corporate Affairs at Adani Power Jharkhand and has earlier played key roles in HR, business development, government liaison, and community engagement for the Godda Power Project.
His career includes leadership stints with reputed firms like Essar Power, Reliance Industries, and Vaishnavi Communications. An accomplished journalist, Shekhar previously worked with Hindustan Times and IBN-7, covering industrial development and interviewing top political leaders.
He is also a motivational speaker and the author of three books – Beyond News, Deadlock, and Ride Above the Clouds. He has received multiple accolades including the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Award and Sparsh Lifetime Achievement Award.
