Free Assistive Devices to Be Distributed in December

After completion of the assessment process, identified beneficiaries will receive the required assistive devices and materials free of cost in December 2026.

The initiative aims to make everyday activities more convenient for persons with disabilities and elderly citizens, reduce their dependence on others and help them lead more independent lives.

Initiative Aims to Promote Independence and Dignity

The assessment camp, organised with ALIMCO’s support, is an important step towards ensuring that assistance reaches people who need it.

By identifying individual requirements before distributing equipment, the initiative seeks to provide appropriate support to beneficiaries rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach.

The programme is expected to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities and senior citizens across Patratu block.
