India News : The Vedanta Group is engulfed in grief following the untimely demise of Agnivesh Agarwal, son of Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal. Agnivesh passed away on Wednesday in New York, reportedly due to cardiac arrest. He was a member of the board of Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL), a key firm under the Vedanta Group.

According to available information, Agnivesh had sustained injuries while skiing in the United States. Following the accident, he was admitted to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition initially showed signs of improvement. However, he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest, leading to his tragic demise.

Anil Agarwal’s Emotional Message

Confirming the heartbreaking news, Anil Agarwal shared an extremely emotional post on social media, describing the day as the most painful of his life.
He wrote that “a father carrying his son’s bier is the greatest sorrow one can endure.”

Agarwal recalled that Agnivesh had gone skiing with a friend in the US when the unfortunate accident occurred. Despite the family’s hopes and the doctors’ initial optimism, fate had other plans.

He added that Agnivesh was not only his son, but also his closest friend and strongest pillar of support. Sharing the family’s grief, Agarwal mentioned that he and his wife Kiran Agarwal are devastated by the loss.
