India News : Haj Committee of India, Mumbai has announced to apply online from 7th July. The last date to apply online has been fixed as 31st July. This information was given by District Minority Welfare Officer Krishna Murari on Sunday.

Know what are the conditions for applying
Important guidelines have been issued regarding the application, according to which the passport should be machine readable, handwritten will not be valid and the last date of application should be 31st July or before, whose validity date is mandatory till 31st December 2026.
For Haj-2026, apart from the normal 40-day journey, an option has been kept to apply for a shorter 20-day Haj journey in which fewer seats are available and the expenditure is likely to be higher and only seven flight destinations have been fixed for those who choose this option. (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai) The conditions prescribed for the normal journey will remain the same as Haj 2025.
What documents will have to be given
While applying online, the applicant will have to upload passport size photo, first page of passport, last page, address proof, bank account details in which a copy of cashed cheque or bank passbook will also be included.

He informed that detailed guidelines are available on the website of Haj Committee of India, Mumbai https://www.hajcommittee.gov.in and the website of Uttar Pradesh State Haj Committee https://hajcommittee.up.gov.in. Before filling the form, make sure to look at it.
Haj Committee of India, Mumbai had collected Rs 3,37,350 from Haj pilgrims going from Lucknow Airport and Rs 327,400 from Delhi as total Haj expenses for Haj session-2025. A maximum of 5 people can apply together for Haj-2026, but all the applicants must be of the same category and must enter their own mobile number. Women of 65 years of age can also apply in the Ladies Without Mehram Category. After applying online, the printout of the application form has to be downloaded and it has to be made available to the Uttar Pradesh State Haj Committee.
