Bihar News : The Bihar government is running the Mukhyamantri Nischay Swayam Sahayata Bhatta Yojana to provide financial assistance to unemployed youth. Under the scheme, eligible unemployed youth who have passed Class 12 or completed graduation can receive ₹1,000 per month for up to two years.
To avail the benefit, applicants must first submit an online application and then complete document verification at the District Registration and Counselling Centre (DRCC).
How to Apply Online for Bihar Unemployment Allowance?
Applicants can submit their online application through the official Bihar 7 Nischay Yuva Upmission Portal.
On the homepage, click on the New Applicant Registration option.
A registration form will open where applicants need to enter their name, email ID, Aadhaar number and mobile number.
After clicking Send OTP, separate OTPs will be sent to the registered mobile number and email address. Enter both OTPs and click Submit.
Once the registration is completed, a confirmation message will appear. The User ID and Password will also be sent to the applicant’s registered mobile number and email address.
How to Fill the SHA Scheme Application Form?
Return to the homepage and log in using the User ID, Password and Captcha Code.
After logging in, the applicant will see a dashboard displaying three scheme options. Select SHA, or the Swayam Sahayata Bhatta Yojana.
The application form will then appear. Applicants need to enter their personal and educational details, address and bank account information.
After filling in all the details, review the information using the Preview option and then submit the application.
Submit Documents at DRCC Within 60 Days
After the online application is submitted, an acknowledgement containing a Unique Registration Number will be sent to the applicant’s registered mobile number and email address.
The required documents must be submitted at the District Registration and Counselling Centre within 60 days.
Information about the documents required for submission at the counter will be sent to the applicant through email during the online application process. A PDF copy of the submitted application will also be sent to the applicant’s email ID.
Document Verification Process
Applicants will be given a date and time to visit the District Registration and Counselling Centre for verification of the required documents.
The information will be communicated through email and SMS one week in advance.
Applicants must carry a self-attested copy of the application received by email, with a passport-size photograph attached, along with photocopies of the required documents.
At the DRCC, applicants will be issued a token number. When their turn comes, they must present all original certificates, self-attested copies of the documents and the signed copy of the online application form.
The original certificates will be returned after scanning. Following document verification, applicants will also receive a written acknowledgement from the counter.
Documents Required for Application
Applicants will need the following documents:
- Class 12 or graduation marksheet
- Class 10 marksheet
- Residential certificate
- Bank account number and a photocopy of the bank passbook
- Aadhaar card
Eligibility Conditions for Financial Assistance
The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
The applicant should not be receiving any government allowance, scholarship, Student Credit Card benefit, education loan or any other financial assistance.
The applicant should not have a government or private job and should not be engaged in self-employment.
Beneficiaries under the scheme must undergo Communication Skill and Basic Computer Knowledge training conducted by the Labour Resources Department.
Final Five Months’ Allowance Linked to Training Certificate
The allowance for the final five months will not be released until the applicant submits the required training certificate.
The allowance will also stop on the day the beneficiary gets a government or private job.
