CM Samrat Choudhary Visits Sonpur Flood Victims, Reviews Relief Operations

Saran: Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary visited flood-affected areas of Sonpur to review the situation caused by the rising water levels of the Ganga, Saryu and Gandak rivers. During the visit, he met displaced and affected families, enquired about their condition and assured them of all possible assistance.

The Chief Minister also visited a community kitchen centre, where he sat with flood victims and shared a meal with them.

CM Reviews Flood Relief Operations

During the inspection, District Magistrate Vaibhav Srivastava briefed the Chief Minister about the relief operations, flood rescue efforts and arrangements being made at community kitchens across the district.

Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary reviewed the ongoing measures and took stock of the assistance being provided to people affected by the flooding.

Instructions for Transparent and Immediate Relief

The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure complete transparency in the distribution of relief materials and food. He also instructed the administration to provide necessary assistance to flood victims without delay.

Taraiya MLA Janak Singh, local MLA Vinay Singh, MP representative Rakesh Singh, District Magistrate Vaibhav Srivastava, the Senior Superintendent of Police and several senior officials were present during the inspection.
