Jharkhand News : A herd of wild elephants has sparked panic in Ramgarh, Jharkhand, after attacking local residents and causing three deaths. The incidents, which occurred on Friday morning, involved a group of about 12 elephants entering areas near the Gola forest and targeting villagers in different locations. In the first incident, two laborers sleeping at a brick kiln were trampled to death by the elephants. In a separate attack, an elderly man collecting Mahua flowers in the forest was also killed. Villagers have reported that the herd has been moving closer to residential areas, increasing the risk to human life and property.
Following reports of the attacks, the Forest Department and local authorities rushed to the sites to assess the situation. They confirmed that efforts are underway to drive the herd back into the forest safely, preventing further casualties.
