Jagdeep Dhankhar Breaks Silence 50 Days After Resignation, Congratulates New Vice President CP Radhakrishnan

India News : Nearly 50 days after resigning from the post of Vice President, Jagdeep Dhankhar has broken his silence and congratulated his successor, CP Radhakrishnan. NDA candidate Radhakrishnan won the vice-presidential election held on Tuesday, defeating INDIA alliance’s Sudarshan Reddy. The election was held ahead of schedule following Dhankhar’s resignation on July 21, citing health reasons.

In his first public statement since stepping down, Dhankhar praised Radhakrishnan in a congratulatory letter, saying his vast public service experience will bring further dignity to the office. “Your elevation to this esteemed position reflects the trust and confidence of the representatives of our nation,” he wrote.

Dhankhar also described India as “the world’s largest democracy and the home to one-sixth of humanity,” adding that the vice presidency will flourish under Radhakrishnan’s leadership.

Dhankhar’s sudden resignation had sparked political speculation, with opposition parties questioning the timing and reasons behind his decision. His silence until now had only fueled curiosity about his whereabouts and future plans.
