India News : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its election manifesto for the upcoming Assam Assembly elections, outlining key promises focused on economic growth and law enforcement.
On Tuesday, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman officially unveiled the party’s vision document. The manifesto highlights a major commitment to bring investments worth ₹5 lakh crore into the state if the BJP returns to power.
The party stated that this large-scale investment would be aimed at boosting infrastructure, industries, and job creation across Assam. Alongside economic promises, the manifesto also includes a pledge to take strict action against what it termed “land jihad,” referring to alleged illegal land encroachments.
The BJP emphasized that it would implement strong measures to curb unlawful land कब्जा and improve governance in the state. The manifesto focuses on development, employment generation, and strengthening law and order.
With these promises, the party aims to secure another term in power in Assam.
