India News : As Raksha Bandhan is being celebrated with great joy across the country, heartwarming scenes were also witnessed at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, the official residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Several school girls visited the PM’s residence and tied rakhi on his wrist, celebrating the festival with love and enthusiasm.
PM Modi was seen interacting and playing with the children, bringing smiles to their faces. On this festive occasion, the Prime Minister extended Raksha Bandhan greetings to all Indians and celebrated with the little girls at his residence, engaging in laughter and light moments.
The joy on the children’s faces clearly showed how much they enjoyed PM Modi’s company.
PM Modi and Ministers Extend Greetings
Earlier on Saturday morning, PM Modi posted his Raksha Bandhan wishes on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), saying:
“Best wishes to all citizens on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari also extended their greetings on the occasion.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared a heartfelt message, stating:
“The sacred knot of affection, a silent vow of trust, and a living expression of the unbreakable bond between brother and sister – heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on Raksha Bandhan. The delicate thread of Rakhi does not just tie the wrist; it connects souls. It weaves an eternal saga of dignity and closeness in every era.”
