According to the latest update from the India Meteorological Department, weather conditions are becoming favorable for the further advancement of the monsoon over parts of the Arabian Sea, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand.

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that with increasing monsoon activity, many areas are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall, while some regions may experience heavy showers.

The expected rainfall is likely to bring down temperatures significantly, providing relief from the prevailing hot and humid conditions.

These areas may experience thunderstorms, lightning, and winds of 40–50 kmph.

Orange Alert for June 11–12

An Orange Alert has been issued for:

  • Hazaribagh
  • Dhanbad
  • Bokaro
  • Koderma
  • Deoghar
  • Dumka
  • Godda
  • Pakur
  • Jamtara
  • Giridih
  • Sahibganj

These districts could witness thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds reaching 50–60 kmph.
