India News : Amid the nationwide protests by students over the NEET-UG paper leak controversy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced a major decision, stating that the government will establish fast-track courts to ensure speedy trials and strict punishment for those involved in paper leak cases.
In a post on social media, the Prime Minister said, “The interests and future of the nation’s youth are our highest priority. Those found guilty in all paper leak cases will be punished swiftly and severely. Fast-track courts will be set up for this purpose.” He added that the concerned departments have already been directed to take the necessary action.
PM Modi said that the government is continuously taking steps to safeguard the interests of students and that the creation of fast-track courts is a significant move in that direction. He reiterated that no one who plays with the future of the country’s youth will be spared.

NEET Paper Leak Protests Continue
The Prime Minister’s announcement comes at a time when students are continuing their protests in Delhi over the NEET-UG paper leak. The opposition has been demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, while questions have also been raised over police action against protesting students.
Minutes after the Prime Minister’s statement, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi criticized the government, saying, “It is you who have done the most damage to the future of the country’s youth. You allowed the education system to deteriorate and protected those responsible.”
Rahul Gandhi also reiterated the students’ demands, calling for the immediate dismissal of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, an apology to students, and action against those responsible for the police action during the protests.
The Prime Minister’s announcement comes amid an ongoing political confrontation inside and outside Parliament over the NEET-UG paper leak issue. While the opposition continues to demand accountability and a detailed discussion, the government maintains that strict action will be taken against those found responsible for the paper leak.
