Jharkhand News : Efforts are gaining momentum to transform the Shri Ram–Janaki Tapovan Temple in Ranchi into a grand and modern religious site. On Monday, members of the temple’s reconstruction committee met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residential office.
During the meeting, the committee briefed the Chief Minister on the progress of the construction work and invited him to visit the site. Reviewing various aspects of the project, Soren described the temple as not only a center of faith for devotees but also an important historical heritage of Ranchi.
He assured that the state government would extend all possible support for the renovation and beautification of the temple. He emphasized that the temple would be developed into a grand and attractive structure equipped with modern amenities to ensure better facilities for devotees coming from across the country and abroad.
The Chief Minister also stressed that the project should be executed in a way that helps establish the temple as a major hub for religious tourism.
Committee members informed that the target to complete the reconstruction has been set for 2029. The foundation work has already been successfully completed.
The temple is being designed and constructed under the guidance of renowned architect Ashish Sompura, who is also the architect of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Those present at the meeting included Mahant Om Prakash, committee secretary Pranay Kumar, member Praveen Kumar Verma, Ayodhya Das, and other members.
