India News : Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is arriving in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, today for a three-day visit. Extensive security arrangements have been made by the district administration in view of his visit.
This will be Dr. Bhagwat’s first visit to Shahdol. He is scheduled to reach Katni by train and then travel to Shahdol by road. Given the significance of the visit, Z-plus level security arrangements have been implemented in the district for the first time. Around 350 security personnel and officers have been deployed, including teams from CISF, Special Branch, district police, and additional forces from neighboring districts.
The main program of Dr. Bhagwat’s visit will be held at a special intellectual camp organized at the Saraswati School campus in Pandav Nagar. More than 300 participants are expected to attend the camp. During his stay, he will participate in several intellectual and organizational sessions.
The Pandav Nagar area has been placed under a special security zone. Round-the-clock security has been arranged at the school campus, and flying drones within a 500-meter radius has been completely prohibited. Every individual entering the premises will undergo strict security checks. CCTV surveillance and a multilayer security system have also been put in place.
Shahdol Superintendent of Police Ramji Srivastava said that special vigilance is being maintained to ensure there are no lapses in security arrangements. The visit of the RSS chief is being considered highly significant from an organizational perspective, and there is considerable enthusiasm among volunteers and RSS workers across the district.
Dr. Bhagwat is scheduled to leave Shahdol on the night of May 22.
