India News : A dramatic and emotional scene unfolded outside the Women’s Police Station in Aligarh, where a helpless son-in-law was seen falling at his mother-in-law’s feet, crying uncontrollably and pleading to be reunited with his wife. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media, sparking widespread discussion about strained relationships and family disputes.
The incident took place after counseling proceedings at the women’s police station. The man, a resident of the Raya area in Mathura, has been married for the past nine years and is the father of three children. Due to ongoing marital disputes, his wife had recently returned to her parental home and filed a complaint at the women’s police station, accusing her husband of domestic violence.
Police called both parties for counseling in an attempt to resolve the matter, but no agreement could be reached. As soon as they stepped out of the police station, the situation turned dramatic. The husband suddenly fell at his mother-in-law’s feet on the road, repeatedly pleading, “Please send my wife back just once. I will not make any mistake again.” The emotional outburst left onlookers stunned.
The man accused his in-laws of instigating his wife against him and claimed that they were deliberately trying to break his family apart. He insisted that he wanted to live peacefully with his wife and children, but alleged interference from his in-laws had pushed his family to the brink of collapse.
On the other hand, the mother-in-law appeared visibly upset and, with police assistance, removed the man from her feet before leaving the spot. According to the Women’s Police Station in-charge, both parties have been given another date for further proceedings. However, the high-voltage drama on the road has become a major talking point across Aligarh.
