St. Jude Primary School Participates in ECL's Hindi Month Celebrations

India News : As part of its ongoing efforts to promote Hindi in line with Article 351 of the Indian Constitution, Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) organized a drawing competition on 3rd September 2025 (Wednesday) at 10:00 AM at St. Jude Primary School, Dishergarh. The event was held under the inspiration of Director (HR), Shri Gunjan Kumar Sinha, as a part of ECL’s Rajbhasha (Hindi) Month 2025 celebrations.

A total of 67 students from Nursery to Class IV participated in the competition, which aimed to nurture creativity and a spirit of learning among young children. Drawing, being a powerful medium of expression for young minds, helps develop imagination, emotion, and cognitive skills—laying the foundation for a progressive and creative future for the nation.

According to Shri Sinha, there is a deep and intrinsic connection between language and visual art. Drawing is fundamentally a form of communication, often preceding spoken or written language, and serves to convey thoughts, emotions, and experiences through symbols and imagery. Both language and art shape and reflect human experience, culture, and psychological processes.

Following the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, ECL is celebrating Rajbhasha (Hindi) Month in September 2025 with energy and enthusiasm. As part of the celebrations, various competitions such as essay writing, letter writing, speeches, and drawing contests are being organized in schools located near ECL establishments. Student participation has been highly encouraging.

Winners of these competitions will be honored at the prize distribution ceremony of Rajbhasha (Hindi) Month 2025.
