Swadesh Kumar Singh Re-Elected as President of RSM Uttar Pradesh

Jharkhand News : The election for the state executive body of Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (RSM) Uttar Pradesh concluded successfully at the state office in Lucknow, where all positions were filled unopposed. Following the election, RSS All-India Prachar Pramukh, Shri Swant Ranjan, guided and addressed the gathering.

Election Officer Dilip Sardesai declared Swadesh Kumar Singh, CEO of GIMS Greater Noida and Managing Director of Guru Educational Skill Foundation, as the President of the RSM’s Technical Wing, Uttar Pradesh. Professor Sunil Mishra was elected as the State General Secretary. A total of 52 office-bearers were announced during the event.

Expressing gratitude on his re-election, Swadesh Kumar Singh said:

“I sincerely thank the top leadership, including Shri Mahendra Kapoor (National Organizational Minister, RSM), Shri Mahendra Kumar (State In-Charge for UP, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Jharkhand), and senior mentor Shri Bhagwati Singh. I promise to serve the organization with full dedication and commitment.”

Prof. Sunil Mishra also expressed his gratitude to the organization and announced plans to expand the technical wing across the state at the regional, divisional, and district levels. He shared that office-bearers would soon be appointed in premier institutions such as IIT Kanpur, MNIT Prayagraj, IIIT Prayagraj, and AKTU Lucknow, along with all government engineering colleges. The goal is to bridge the gap between private and government institutions, and to advocate for the implementation of University Service Rules for better parity and professional growth.

Further, Mishra proposed to establish a Start-Up Innovation Research Centre in Greater Noida with state government support. This will help elevate the academic and research standards of the region to an international level.

Swadesh Kumar Singh also outlined plans for setting up a comprehensive integrated teaching-learning-training-startup centre covering over 60 institutions in Knowledge Park, Greater Noida. The centre aims to consolidate and polish the skill base of the region to achieve placement levels comparable to IITs.

Efforts will also be made to support the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) through expert lectures and policy-strengthening initiatives.

The election event witnessed large-scale participation of members, showcasing widespread support for the new leadership.
