Jharkhand News : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren stated that his government is not being run from headquarters but directly from villages. He said that government schemes are reaching the last person in society and people’s problems are being resolved swiftly, resulting in visible positive outcomes across the state.

The Chief Minister was addressing a program in Serengsia under the Tonto block of West Singhbhum district on Monday, where he paid tribute to martyrs and inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects along with asset distribution.
Calling the day historic, Hemant Soren said the occasion reminds everyone of the sacrifices of immortal martyrs and inspires the government to fulfill their dreams. He emphasized that Jharkhand is moving forward rapidly on all fronts of development.
The Chief Minister highlighted that true progress is possible only when people are economically, socially, educationally, and intellectually empowered. With this vision, the government is working to strengthen every section of society.
Appealing to villagers, he urged them to ensure education for their children under all circumstances. He said the government is providing quality education to underprivileged students, free coaching for medical and engineering entrance exams, and 100 percent scholarships for higher education abroad.
Focusing on women empowerment, Hemant Soren said strengthening half of the population is a key priority. Under the Chief Minister Maiyaan Samman Yojana, women aged between 18 and 50 years are being provided ₹30,000 annually to help them become self-reliant.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 197 development projects worth ₹398.19 crore. Assets worth over ₹637 crore were distributed among 3.77 lakh beneficiaries, and 1,479 youths received appointment letters.
Earlier, Hemant Soren paid floral tributes at the Serengsia Martyrs’ Memorial, honoring legendary freedom fighters including Poto Ho, who fought against British rule. He said Jharkhand has always been the land of brave warriors and that honoring martyrs is an integral part of the state’s tradition.
Several ministers, MPs, MLAs, senior administrative and police officials were present at the event.
