Ram Temple Trust Discloses Financial Details: 32 kg Gold, 1,518 kg Silver and ₹582 Crore in Cash Donations

India News : The financial position of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, along with details of gold and silver received as donations, has come to light through a preliminary Special Investigation Team (SIT) report and the trust’s available financial records. According to the report, the trust has received thousands of crores in donations up to March 31, 2026. The report provides a detailed account of cash offerings, temple construction expenditure, current funds, land purchases, and precious metals received as donations.

₹3,264 Crore Raised Through Donations

According to the report, the trust received a total of ₹3,264 crore through its Nidhi Samarpan campaign and corpus donations between 2020 and March 31, 2026.

Out of this amount, ₹2,370 crore has been spent on the construction of the Ram Temple and other capital works, including construction-related infrastructure and associated capital expenditure.

₹582 Crore Received as Cash Offerings

The trust received ₹582 crore in cash offerings up to March 31, 2026. Of this, ₹391 crore was spent on operational and revenue-related expenses.

According to the unaudited provisional financial statements as of March 31, 2026, the trust holds total funds of ₹1,876.30 crore. The money has been invested in fixed deposits, mutual funds, and bank accounts with State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, and Punjab National Bank.

32.259 kg of Gold and Over 1.5 Tonnes of Silver on Record

The report states that the trust’s records include 32.259 kilograms of gold items received as donations.

Silver donated to the trust was sent to the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India, where it was refined and converted into silver bars.

As of March 31, 2026, the trust’s records show:

  • 849.272 kilograms of 99.99% pure silver.
  • 669.653 kilograms of other silver-based metal.

This brings the total recorded silver holdings to 1,518.925 kilograms.

Allegations of Missing Silver Found Baseless

The report also examined allegations circulating on social media that donated silver bars had gone missing. The investigation found that the claims relating to silver donated by the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association and Vishva Sindhi Seva Samaj were not substantiated.

According to the findings, all donated items were properly accounted for in both the trust’s records and the records of the government mint.

Trust Purchased 2.57 Acres of Land

The report further states that between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, the trust purchased or entered into agreements to acquire 2.57 acres of land at various locations, spending ₹20.16 crore.

The financial statement, based on records up to March 31, 2026, includes comprehensive details of the trust’s income, expenditure, cash offerings, temple construction expenses, land acquisitions, and donations received in the form of precious metals.
