- Tabla, octapad, flute and keyboard performances create a vibrant musical atmosphere
Jharkhand News : The Dayanand Auditorium at Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali came alive with rhythm and melody as the school organised an Inter-House Instrumental Music Competition. Students of Classes 6 to 10 showcased their talent on various musical instruments and received enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The rhythmic beats of the tabla and octapad created an energetic atmosphere, while the melodious notes of the flute added a soulful touch to the programme. Patriotic tunes performed on the harmonium and synthesizer keyboard also drew loud applause from the audience.
Music Experts Judge the Competition
Music personalities Manohar Kumar Pathak and Ghazal Mishra served as judges for the competition. They evaluated the performances of the participants during the closely contested event.
The competition was organised in the Sub-Junior and Junior categories, with students representing different houses of the school.
Harshvardhan Tops Sub-Junior Category
In the Sub-Junior category for Classes 6 to 8, Harshvardhan of Class 7C from Rajendra House secured first place.
Satyam Raj of Class 8G from Tagore House and Ronit Saha of Class 7G from Rajendra House jointly secured second place.
Rajswvi Bhushan Srivastava of Class 8A from Tilak House and Aryaman Sahu of Class 6A from Dayanand House jointly secured third place.
Shaurya Kumar Wins Junior Category
In the Junior category for Classes 9 and 10, Shaurya Kumar of Class 10B from Tagore House secured first place with his performance.
Naman Arya of Class 9C from Rajendra House and Reyansh Mohan of Class 9F from Tagore House jointly secured second place.
Samaksh Verma of Class 9D from Tilak House and Tanmay Tanush of Class 9A from Tagore House jointly secured third place.
Principal Praises Participants’ Performances
School Principal B. N. Jha praised the performances of all the participants and said that every student had displayed remarkable talent. He noted that selecting the winners had been a challenging task for the judges.
He encouraged the students to remain connected with music and continue developing their artistic abilities.
Secondary Section in-charge Shileshwar Jha ‘Sushil’ also encouraged the participants and said that taking the stage and showcasing one’s talent is an achievement in itself.
He urged students not to feel discouraged by defeat, saying that participation and the opportunity to display their art should also be seen as a celebration.
