Patratu : Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) celebrated the 52nd Raising Day of NTPC with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at its Patratu plant.
The celebrations began with the hoisting of the NTPC flag by Shri A. K. Sehgal, CEO, PVUNL, followed by his address to the gathering and the release of balloons to mark the occasion.
Thereafter, the CEO, General Managers, Heads of Departments and employees assembled at the Conference Hall for a cake-cutting ceremony, commemorating NTPC’s remarkable journey and achievements.
On the occasion, employees also joined the live address of Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC, broadcast from SCOPE, New Delhi. In his address, he highlighted the significant achievements of various NTPC stations and their contributions to the organisation’s growth. He also underscored NTPC’s commitment to expanding its renewable energy portfolio and exploring new initiatives across multiple sectors to further strengthen its position as a leading energy company.
Following the CMD’s address, Shri A. K. Sehgal, CEO, PVUNL, addressed the employees and shared his vision and expectations for the organisation. He stressed the importance of collective dedication, teamwork and commitment among employees to expedite the commissioning of Unit 3.
The celebration concluded on a note of collective pride and renewed commitment, reflecting the dedication of PVUNL employees towards NTPC’s continued pursuit of excellence and its contribution to nation-building.
