Ranchi: Chief Justice Surya Kant of the Supreme Court arrived in Deoghar on Monday. Upon his arrival at Deoghar Airport, he was accorded a grand welcome by judicial and administrative officials, who presented him with bouquets.
Additionally, personnel from the JAP-01 (Jharkhand Armed Police-01) unit presented a Guard of Honour to the Chief Justice within the airport premises.
On this occasion, several dignitaries—including Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad and Justice Rongon Mukhopadhyay of the Jharkhand High Court; Principal District Judge K.K. Jha; JHALSA Member Secretary Kumari Ranjan Asthana; Commissioner of the Santhal Pargana Division Shailendra Kumar Lal; DIG Ambar Lakra; Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvaniya; Superintendent of Police Praveen Pushkar; Deputy Development Commissioner Piyush Sinha; Municipal Commissioner Sulochana Meena; and Sub-Divisional Officer Ravi Kumar—welcomed and greeted the Chief Justice by presenting him with bouquets.
