Jharkhand news : President of India Droupadi Murmu delivered a strong message on success, social responsibility, and nation-building at the 15th convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur. Addressing the graduating students, the President said that NIT Jamshedpur has been contributing to excellence in science and technology for the past 65 years and has produced engineers who have enhanced India’s global reputation. She congratulated all 1,114 degree recipients and emphasized that the convocation marks not only the celebration of academic achievement but also the beginning of new responsibilities towards the nation.

She also reminded students to remain grateful to their parents and teachers. The President congratulated Swami Govind Dev Giri, who received an honorary Doctor of Literature degree, and industrialist Ravindra Kumar Behera, who was awarded an honorary Doctor of Philosophy degree.
