PMCH Offers Relief to Elderly and Disabled Patients

The special registration counter at PMCH has been introduced to help elderly and disabled patients avoid long queues during registration and diagnostic procedures.

PMCH Superintendent Rajiv Kumar Singh said the new facility will allow these patients to complete registration for ultrasound, X-ray, CT scan and MRI without having to stand in queues at separate counters.

New System Aims to Simplify Registration

The new arrangement is intended to make the registration process for diagnostic tests easier for elderly and disabled patients.

The hospital superintendent has also issued necessary instructions to all concerned departments to ensure the smooth implementation of the facility.

The arrangement is expected to reduce the inconvenience of moving between multiple counters and waiting in long queues.

NMCH Prepares New Registration Counter

Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) is also setting up a new registration counter to improve convenience for patients and their attendants.

NMCH Superintendent Rajiv Sinha said several modern facilities have been introduced at the hospital, leading to an increase in the number of patients seeking treatment.

The new registration counter is being prepared to improve the hospital’s registration system amid the growing patient load.

Construction in Final Stage

Construction of the new registration counter at NMCH has reached its final stage. The hospital management expects the facility to begin operations next month.

Once operational, the new counter is expected to reduce the time patients and their attendants spend waiting in long registration queues.

The initiative to improve registration facilities at PMCH and NMCH comes amid increasing patient numbers at the two hospitals. While the special counter for elderly and disabled patients is already operational at PMCH, NMCH is awaiting the launch of its new facility.
