Jharkhand News : Ahead of President Droupadi Murmu’s scheduled visit to Jamshedpur on Monday, the district administration has put stringent security arrangements in place. As part of these measures, the entire Dhalbhum subdivision has been declared a No-Flying Zone for 28 hours, effective from 6:00 PM on Sunday to 10:00 PM on Monday.
During this period, the operation of drones, hot air balloons, and any other flying devices has been completely prohibited. The order was issued by Dhalbhum Sub-Divisional Officer Chandrajeet Singh on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner.
According to the administration, the restriction will not be limited to Jamshedpur city alone but will also cover Potka, Patamda, and Bodam blocks. Authorities have warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating the orders.
As per the official schedule, President Droupadi Murmu will arrive at Sonari Airport at 10:10 AM on Monday via an Indian Air Force helicopter. She will first attend the centenary celebration of the Ol Chiki script at Dishom Jaher in Karandih, followed by participation in the convocation ceremony at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur.
After completing the scheduled programs, the President will depart for Ranchi after 3:30 PM by Air Force helicopter. The East Singhbhum district administration has appealed to the general public to cooperate with the security arrangements and strictly adhere to all guidelines related to the no-flying zone to ensure a safe and smooth presidential visit.
