Jharkhand News : Chief Minister Hemant Soren emphasized that his government is working with utmost sensitivity for every section and community in the state. From tribal, Dalit, and backward classes to women, youth, and differently-abled individuals, the government is committed to providing opportunities for all. “Whether educated, semi-literate, or illiterate, we are working to uplift everyone. We are striving to provide employment based on ability and competence,” he said.
CM Soren made these remarks while addressing a state-level event at Morhabadi Ground, Ranchi, marking the completion of one year of the government’s second term. On this occasion, he distributed appointment letters to 8,792 newly recruited candidates.
“Today, the issuance of these appointment letters strengthens the trust of at least 50,000 people,” he said. “The youth of this state can be assured that the government stands with them at every step. Today, a new chapter begins in your careers, and as integral members of the government, you will contribute significantly to taking the state to new heights.”
A Day of Mixed Emotions
The Chief Minister expressed mixed emotions, saying, “Today, while we celebrate the first anniversary of our second term, our hearts are a little heavy as Dishom Guru Shibu Soren is not with us. Had he been here, he would have been overjoyed to see such a large number of youth receiving appointment letters.” He also paid tribute to the great social reformer Jyotirao Phule on his death anniversary.
A Historic Moment
CM Soren called the day historic, noting the significance of issuing such a large number of appointment letters at once. “Our government is fully committed to securing the future of the youth. This year alone, over 16,000 young people have been employed in government jobs and 8,000 in the private sector. This recruitment drive will continue,” he said.
Government Initiatives Showing Tangible Impact
The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s initiatives, particularly the Mukhyamantri Maiyaa Samman Yojana, aimed at empowering women. “Today, women are becoming self-reliant through this scheme. For instance, one woman who completed her studies with financial support from this program is now serving as an officer,” he noted. He added that 40% of Assistant Professors and 30% of candidates in JPSC Civil Services are women, reflecting significant progress in women’s empowerment.
