Kathmandu: The influence of a low-pressure area situated near western Nepal—a remnant of Cyclone Arnab—is weakening. As this influence wanes, the weather is gradually improving.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the sky is currently mostly cloudy across the country’s hilly and Himalayan regions, including Lumbini Province, while the rest of the country remains partly cloudy. Light rain is occurring in some locations within the Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.
The Department states that the weather will remain partly cloudy across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places within the Himalayan and hilly regions.
Tonight, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy nationwide. Light rain and snowfall are possible in one or two locations across the Himalayan and hilly areas of the Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
